hey.
i havent been around this ole place in a while. thought id check in and stick here until whatever.
im not getting any services for me. been diagnosed as part of assessment processes a handful of times.
i have been denied so many times given the above information^
havent worked since fall, maybe wont work again, dont eat, cant sleep
functional. its all a lie world.
its a shame because ive wanted to talk to docs that would get it.
thought my family might pick up a book or two.
ive begged to speak to peer support specialists/peer mentors (professionals with autism).
nothing.
ive only ever known one other person in my life that has asd.
im visiting her in another state next week.
then i just have to come back i guess.

i haven't had a lot of "services" myself. frankly i don't get much use out of them. maybe it's just me.

haven't worked since last summer, sleeping well, might get the job back that i had there...might. i guess that's nice.

my family doesn't "get" ASD". i suppose they never have, recently they've been trying to, but it didn't really go far. oh well.

my only other friend outside of my GF is an aspie i met on here. she lives on the other side of the world and i plan to see her in august.

like you, she's had to have people "pick up a book or two".

besides her i never really have known any aspies. i suspect my cousin is one, but i doubt it and besides, he's in another state now. foreign exchange students use his room now. i don't know here he is, my family is really scattered. violent crime doesn't help that.
