Hello,
I've come to realize this past year that I am in need of a community to help me deal with aspects of my identity. I am glad that I think I have found that community. I shall introduce myself:
I am Andrew. At least, that's my real name. I'm 18 years old, and I live in the South West of England. You would probably find me most often sat at my desk, browsing the Internet. I like to learn things, especially Computer-related things, such as Programming, Electronics, and Logic puzzles. I also enjoy learning [Human] languages, and have gained a degree of fluency in Mandarin Chinese (汉语), and Swedish (Svenska). I have plans to continue pursuing language learning.
I have recently become interested in Artificial Intelligence, probably something to do with my fascination with the Terminator Franchise. I would love to talk to people on this forum, and make some friends like me, who perhaps share common interests, as I do not often get to discuss my topics of interest at length with people.
I was diagnosed very late. As I understand it, most people with Asperger's Syndrome are diagnosed early in childhood. I was diagnosed at the age of 16.
I don't want to make this too long, but thank you for allowing me to be part of your community
please feel free to ask questions or talk to me.
Best regards,
MeridianArchetype
