Hi, I'm new!

Hi.

So... my name is Chris... and that's about it. I've been diagnosed with AS since I was about 10/11 ish (I forget exactly when), and had a pretty bad time until then. I had a pretty bad time after too, come to think of it.

But I stand here as evidence of every cloud having a silver lining. I'm currently finishing my first year at college (in the UK, the US system is different, I gather), and couldn't be happier. I'm near the top of my classes (not at the top, but sort of inbetween average and the best), and am (to my surprise) quite popular.

My hobbies include computing (the aspie stereotype ), reading, and generally finding ways to use my brain. I also like writing, but it's rare I finish anything.

Oh, and I tend to be pretty poor with forums in general, so I figured that if I put my foot in it, at least I'm surrounded by people who might at least know what I meant!

Ah yes, unfinished programs abound! Most of them were pretty dull to start with, and I was trying something out. The rest, I got stuck, and stopped.

At least I have excuses for not finishing those
