Hi all,

Been lurking here for a while now........fab site btw.

Im Shelley, i live in Yorkshire in the UK.

Im a SAHM with two little girls aged just 5 and almost 3, My eldest was Dxd last month with AS my youngest is most definatley NT.

Im looking forward to chatting and learning more about AS so that i can help support my Aspie daughter, who is totally adorable, btw.

Hello Shelley

Welcome to WP :)

I just have to say that I am very happy that your daughter got an early diagnosis rather than a late one. I got a diagnosis at 15, a bit late to try and "change" behavior as my doctor puts it.

But anyway...I hope you enjoy your time here.

Hello from another busy mom. I have a 16 year old son with AS, an NT 14 year old son, an AS 13 year old son, and an ADHD 6 year old daughter. WELCOME! And I'm glad you found WP! :D

Brittany2907 - Yes im really pleased that we have managed to get a dx for her so young, im hoping that by my learning to understand things for her i can help her understand herself (when appropriate), However at this point i dont think she considers herself any differant to others, :D

Goche21 - Yes Shelley is a cool name, However it is my name not a nick name :wink: , but here in the UK alot of people think my name is Michelle.

blessedmom - My goodness i thought i had my hands full, lol :D
