Hi!
I registered here quite a while ago, but somehow forgot that I did so. Then I saw that there was a member here with this username, and I thought that was cool, because I've used this name on a lot of different places. Then I figured out it was actually me. 
So anyway, just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. I recognize some screen names from AVEN, where I hang out a lot. Yep, I have the same screen name and avatar there, too; different color, though -- I thought the purple would clash here. 
Anyway... hi everybody! 
Bit about myself -- I'm a draftsman, I just moved to Minnesooooooota (hehe... just poking a little fun at the accents -- I think they're cute), and I'm into all kinds of geeky stuff on which I'm sure I'll elaborate later.
Uhm... Asperger's. So, I was diagnosed a few years ago, but since then I've sorta come to resent the idea that it's a "disorder". I just put it in my big box of personality quirks, and don't even think about it most of the time. Except for when I have a job interview. 
Well, I've rambled long enough, so I guess I'll head over to some other threads. Nice to meet you all!

BeeBee, I have to admit I don't know what you mean by "uff da", but then again I need to get out more. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I hear it from someone.
People have been making fun of my accent too, of course. I grew up in the Ozarks, so a teensy bit of a drawl was inevitable. Good to know there are some locals here! Are there meetups ever?

Welcome and well met. The best thing here is that everyone is extremely different, but we all seem to tolerate each other fairly well. The worst thing? Well, so far, I haven't figured anything out for that yet. Heh.
