My name is Jason.

I was diagnosed with LD when I was 3 which was incorrect. I had to take special education all through elementary. But many years later after graduating from High School. Which was extremely hard. Not education wise but many other problems. I went to college and got a excellent internship in a Engineering Department at Bell Helicopter. Problems arouse shortly after 10x as much than it was in school. I dropped out of college and quit my internship. They probably would of kept me though. I was way more efficient at my job than people with Bachelor and Master degrees. My life was and still been a constant strongly. I did several odd jobs. Even a failed attempt in the Army.

About 2 years ago and many failed attempts of therapy. Throwing ever type of medication at me sense the 8th grade. None of it was helping me. My grandmother kept searching for a professional to help me. She finally found one. Instead of tossing me pills and charging me a fortune. He sent me to a specialist and took testing and she talked to me, my parents, and certain family members. It was then I was diagnosed with Aspergers. I was pretty anger. She gave me a brief explanation of it. I thought at first it was some sort of mental retardation. I know better now.

My new psychologist is doing his best to help me function in life with Aspergers. I have my own private business now and fortunate enough to have grandparents that are able to support me in many ways.

I came here because of a really bad experience almost a week ago. I figured I should introduce myself after letting out my situation.

Welcome otakucore,

That sounds like the hard way to get to WP.

AS is not the problem, just all that other stuff that happens.

Some here have better stories, some have worse, but all do a lot better understanding and having others to talk to. The shocking comment about this place is we all seem so normal.

Here we are. There is noting about AS, from the inside, just in dealing with the outter world.

Many have said, I was the wierdest person I knew for many years, a little while on WP and I am an ordinary aspie.

Welcome home.

I'm glad you're here. What is your business?
Do you live in Japan? I lived four years in Fussa-shi.
