Newbie Says Hello

I'm new here. I've got a complicated situation. My Steve, the love of my life for over 20 years, committed suicide on 12/16/05. I am now convinced that he was an undiagnosed AS. But the reason we got along so well is that we were a lot alike, so I am wondering. Am I an undiagnosed AS, too? Is there an on-line test I can take? :roll: I could use some friends, especially in the St. Louis area. (Missouri, of course.)

Welcome to WP Auntb93, sorry for your loss

Remember that the test is only a guideline, not an official diagnosis. And on another note, my best friend is NT throough and through, yet I have never met anyone who is more like me.

I recoment looking around these forums for a while and see how much of the stuff here you relate to, that should give you an idea of what you are.

I took the test that Charlie Brown (I'm very bad at remembering screen names, and don't yet know how to look for yours while composing a reply) recommended, and they say I'm an Aspie. But I wa also mentally taking it for Steve, and he would probably have registered 100%! :lol: Why do I get the feeling Asperger Syndrome can be roughly translated as the line my parents constantly used: too smart for your own good.
