Hi all, another newbie

I'm 27. I've suspected I had AS for several years now. My boss (his young son has diagnosed AS) clued me in after I forgot to shake his hand (and simply walked out of the room) at the conclusion of my annual review. That is when I started reading about it and things started to make sense.

Outside of the social scene, I'm pretty typical. I did well in school and do well at work. I've managed to keep a small circle of friends from my early childhood but haven't been able to make any new ones in adulthood.

Welcome to Wrong Planet.

My father-in-law does this...just walks right out of the house. Nobody knows where the heck he is. Did he leave? DId he say good bye to anyone? Will he come back? (stay tuned for next week...)

Anyway, I have 2 boys on the spectrum, both high-functioning. Pretty much learned in the process that husband is also an Aspie...now I know my father-in-law is one too. Makes so much sense.

What a cool boss you have.
