Hi, I've just recently been diagnosed with AS and have just discovered this site

I'm 32, live in the UK and am currently training to be a Peer Supporter to people suffering with various Mental Health problems.
I enjoy all kinds of music (but NOT commercial stuff), movies, Modern Art, Reading Novels, Playing Video games and have an obsession with Pro Wrestling that borders on the psychotic.

I have been isolated socially for the past 10 years, due to bouts of depression and Social Anxiety, and I'd admit that even communicating with others via the web seems quite scary. But some very positive changes have occured in my life over the last 18 months or so that have helped me realise that life doesn't always have to be so hard. I feel nows the time to draw a line in the sand and emerge from my shell for good. Hope this site can help me do that.
