Just saying hello.

Having displayed many traits which could fall under the symptoms of Aspergers for years, I have finally bitten the bullet and accepted that I am probably an Aspie. I don't plan on getting a diagnosis - my medical history is complex enough as it is (asthma, epilepsy - relieved by brain surgery) without adding another reason for the insurance industry to kick me.

I am an accountant by profession, and don't drink (epilepsy related) thereby eliminating any chance of social interaction.

I took the RDOS test which came out mixed (displaying both Aspie and NT traits).

Hi ihgeek and welcome to the wrongplanet. Not everybody wants to be diagnosed and that is fine. I wanted to be, and it came as no surprise when I was diagnosed with Asperger's. Hope this site is useful to you, and enjoy.

You don't have to drink to have social interaction! was my first thought, and then I saw where you were from, paused, and had that for my second thought. Do you get stomped on if you drink a soda instead of ale? I've had no problems with that except for the stupidity that follows after my friends have had a few drinks and then it's time for me to leave anyway.
