Interested in meeting asexual aspies who are looking for friends in northern Va area. Like vido games (WOW), computers, laser tag, writing fantasy novels. Going to college next year and hope to find friends who want to talk about something other than dating and getting drunk on Sat. nights. Are there any asexual groups in Virginia??

I am an asexual aspie that lives in central PA. I like computers, technology in general, wolves, and autism awareness. I hate when other guys only ever talk about how hot girls are, how many girls they have been with, and getting drunk every weekend.

I like everything wolf-related. Not sure why, they just get to me. I'm a girl, some people have said my long hair is more like fur - I also love dogs and most other animals. When did you realize you were asexual? Have you met others? Is it possible to have a close personal relationship, long-term, if you're aspie & asexual? I worry about being lonely as I get older.

I realized that there was something different about me in HS when I didn't seem to be like the other guys my age. I didn't have any interest in looking a girls, and I couldn't tell what was considered "Hot". I always felt super awkward and uncomfortable when I was in a situation where I was asked a question like "Which girl is hotter?" I just had no sexual attraction. I haven't met any other asexuals in person but I have on the internet. Currently I am set up in a dating relationship with a girl; we have been together for three months. She knows that I am asexual but I decided to try dating out anyway.

My dad works in Reston, VA. He commutes from PA most days.

I'm thinking of starting an asexual club at college, next year, if I have the nerve, but I may be the only one to join. Good luck with your dating partner. I hope to find one someday. Do your parents know about you? Do they ask you questions? My mom worried I was abused or something and repressing it, making me anti-boys. But I just don't feel anything in that realm, never heave. I want to have a boyfriend some day though.
