I was wondering about this also but im so new at computers i thought there was some way to know the gender of reader/poster, dispite how illogical it seemed....Did I think a hormone test was involved?I guess if I was a male, confused by the complexitys of women, I would also head directly to a site that might help me understand them....is this wrong?Anyway, how can you know that it is female only(for this computer newbie)

And Vizner...your funny

Hey, I posted the same idea a few months back, and nothing ever happened.

At first I didn't see a point in it - why not just start a thread? And since I have no problems talking about things like menstruation in front of a male crowd, I don't see what the big deal is. Sorry

But granted, there are still a lot of gender-related issues that particularly women with an "extreme male brain" (http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/pto-3207.html) have to face.

I'm up for the idea of having a women's only forum too, for womens issues. Or maybe just for girly chats if you feel like it, that would be so cool.

A womens' only forum would be merely a sexist male-hating forum. Why don't we start a mens' only forum?

How would talking about periods, PMS, breast checks [and bra fittings], yearly pap smears, ovulation, painful sex, pregnancy, abortion, contraception, childbirth, post natal depression, breastfeeding, emotional abuse, domestic abuse, rape and sexual abuse, anorexia/ bulemia etc and all other problems women can suffer from be 'man hating'?

Do you honestly believe we obsess that much about men or are you just ignorant about women in general? "Oh no.. think I might have breast cancer.. better get it checked.. but the doctor is cute.. oh. I forgot to put make up on .. ON NO!! !"

Try reading the whole thread.

I propose a men's only forum in order to even things out....
I'm sorry, but seeing a women's only forum kind of sickened me, and the experience only became worse when I saw that there wasn't also a men's only forum.
Just to make things fair, I think we should either put in a men's only discussion section -or- delete the women's only discussion forum? Which sounds more reasonable to you?

I know this sounds sexist of me, but you know what? Men obsess over women, and you know what that means? That means it's somehow wrong and feels somehow unnatural for a straight woman to not obsess over men. If your'e straight, where's the point in living if you're not always obsessing over the opposite gender? Exactly. There is none.
I think that's probably the only thing that's ever confused me about women.
