What's wrong with resurrecting some old posts and chat threads? Not everyone has been here from the beginning, and some might actually enjoy reading and catching up with all these threads. Doesn't stop people making new threads either... the 'net is meant to be a library, afterall. And that is what you do in a library; search for anything that you want.

If people are so concerned about old threads, then, haven't they heard of archiving them? Surely there must be provision for it.

To me, calandale doesn't actually want free speech on these forums; he just wants us to follow the gospel according to calandale, where he makes up his own rules as he goes along; and if anyone disagrees with him, he calls them heretics and then tries to bury them in verbose prattle. His graffiti consists of his standard and tired old insults (all of which you would've seen). Only problem is, he sounds like an old Louis Armstrong 78 rpm with a huge scratch all through one side; keeps going round and around and not getting anywhere until the needle gets worn out and breaks. I know he is probably a very lonely person since his marriage collapsed, and he has problems, by why is he so bitter and twisted when he doesn't get the recognition that he wants? Is there some sort of paranoid psychosis there, or is he just being an annoying prat? Maybe only he can answer that, but I'm not sure what sort of answer we'll get.

Unfortunately, my qualifications in psychology are confined to a couple of subjects I did at Griffith for my degree, so I really can't answer that without being called unqualified. What about you? Do any Uni up at Townsville?

BTW, get a dictionary, calandale. I suggest either the Webster's Universal or the Oxford English Dictionaries. That MacQuarie you are using is dreadfully inaccurate; with all the misspelt words and phrases.

You say I can't spell; you being a uni prof should realise the Queen's English, which is the proper form of it, is what we speak in Australia, unlike the bastardized form that became popular in America. The word is 'responsibilities' with an i, and yours are to let people say what they want without continually picking on them for their behaviour and what they are writing.

If you can't do this, then take Quatermass' suggestion and go to I2 or Uranus or whatever.

Heh. I'm hoping the Uni of Hard Knocks doesn't have courses to make me like AFL or NRL. Only concern I have with that is whether Queensland has won the State of Origin.

Why I have been getting stuck into calandale so much is because he persistently attacked Pandora for doing what she was doing, and didn't come up with any balanced argument why things should be done in a certain way. All he gave was backstabbing and innuendo, and so therefore I leaped to her defense. He therefore thought I was a sockpuppet brought on to pick on him; it's not him I'm actually picking on, but his constant abuse and ridiculing of others. He doesn't seem to like copping a bit of his own medicine. As I've said on those forums, I'll debate anything in an intelligent way, I will also fight back if I see people continually being sniped at in the way he was doing.

I did lay out, again and again (especially as I saw the original
arguments being buried under more necros) what pandora was
doing, and why it was wrong. And I began to note her stated
reasons, once she revealed them.

And yes, what she was doing was an underhanded tactic,
effectively the equivalent to a large scale spam attack -
in order to drive topics from the public view.
