When we moderate, we do it for the good of the forum as a whole. I take a utilitarian approach to moderation. That means the strongest amount of good to the most amount of people. If other people are disruptive, and continue to do so, well, we will ban them. This, first and foremost, is a support site for people with AS, not a shooting range or a chance to show off that you or your opinion is foremost amongst all others.

And this is how you treat us in return? You disgust me. Pathetic, petty little minds who cannot get over slights either imagined or exaggerated as justification for doing what you want, regardless of how others feel. You are poor examples of the human race as a whole, regardless of whether or not you have Asperger's, autism, or are an NT.

And here http://www.wrongplanet.net/postxf118616-0-15.html

I'm sure thats not the only member who feels intimidated by the mods here. And has had a bad time with them.

I can't quite recall the circumstances in question, but the member was banned due to a different issue, but not by me, I am fairly sure, and not directly due to the travel blog. I was willing to live and let live on that issue, as long as he left me alone.

But I don't know why I have to justify myself to a sockpuppet.

But Makuro could be a sockpuppet, and "he" is a mod. He had hardly posted before he was made a mod.

But thanks for clearing that up. And yeah, I am. But my main account was banned unfairly. I'm not a troll. I've even been to a WP meet up for hecks sake. And got on well with other who attenened.

Okay I wanted to say this. After Emor had posted that, her login quit working here and she was unable to recover her password.

And sins quoted the link, so it was obviously her who did that.

I wouldn't say obvious - merely, it increases the likelyhood of it being the case.

Hey Alex, what happens if it turns out someone turns out to have been locking people out of their accounts unscrupulously? What happens if other people were aware, and by extension, complicit?

Will you consider changing the software to display who is banned more clearly?

There is a reason I am very stiff and formal with actions that I take over at AFF - precisely to avoid situations where there might be confusion over wording. Likewise, people are free to slate me and the site off to their hearts content - provided they don't do it at AFF. Even if they do do it at AFF, depending on how they go about it (attack the principle, not the person), there is a good chance they'll avoid the hammer.

I've never understood where the belief that I don't exist comes from - would welcome an explanation, and curious why that question has rarely if ever been pointed in my direction. If Alex wishes to verify, he is welcome to check IP addresses, contact me via a variety of means, in order to confirm any questions -he- may have. As for posting, I suppose around 2,000 at the time doesn't qualify as being active.

I didn't know it was around 2,000. I heard someone else say you had hardly been active. Why don't you post a video? Or yeah, just do it to Alex. I do think any mod who was made a mod by someone other than Alex, should prove they exist.

While not as prolific as some, I have been steadily active over the roughly two years that I have been a member here - and I consider myself a member first and foremost. I haven't posted a video because I don't take videos, but I do believe that I had posted a couple pictures when I first signed up here and have contacted Alex on sites other than WP.

Appreciate the quasi-relief, then. If I get the opportunity, I may go back and see if I can find that thread with the picture - honestly, have had no idea there was that much interest.

Alex, at last is just doing the right thing. You're being way over the top with your insults. If a mod has done the crime in question, then obviously they aren't acting for the good of the forum. I think members have been speaking up now, because they were too scared to. You're bullies, not supportive.

I heard you've banned members for saying they didn't like your travel blog. That to me is pathetic.

No QM we are just speaking our minds now telling the truth how we have been treated unfairly. In the past we have kept quiet because we were scared to speak up due to the fear of the ban. With you guys not having the power, we have our chance to speak out. Someone messed with the wrong person so that person went to Alex showing him the unfair final warning she got and she was back posting here again and then she was unable to login again. She posted under her husband's account, same issue occurred. Then yesterday, all her accounts were deleted; Spokane_Girl, likedcalico and sleepingwolf, her husband's account. Who was that person? Me. I did not intend for this really to happen but it did after I had been bitching about my issues at other places. Then parts has decided to start a thread asking about missing accounts. I decided to speak up expecting to get banned and lose my account. This has nothing to do with the post Emor posted at the Psych Forums.

Thank me everyone for this. I think I have finally gotten Alex to be aware of the issues here. :D
I don't know what will happen after this.

Well the fact that all 4 of the accounts relating to you, shows it wasn't just a "glitch". Anyone who believes that is hugely naive. Someone is guilty.

Well actually it wasn't just you, but yes, you played a big part.

I don't really seem to have a problem with anything here but like.... I'm just curious does the database messes up when a moderator or admin deletes a member?

If you try to call a value that doesn't exist, theoretically it can cause a fault...which, depending on the software, can be handled graciously - IE: without a hitch, or...it can slow the software whilst it goes through a system of "what do?", or....worst case, the whole thing falls over.

It was two actually. My husband's account doesn't count because it was his, not mine. Now this is my third one.

PS I am afraid to be wrong.
