You know, I wonder if he ever did pate any of his victim's livers. He did eat a census taker's with fava beans and a good wine (a big Amarone in the novel, and a nice Chianti in the film).

That's the only part of the movie I know.

You really have to question the tastes of someone who will willingly eat anything with fava beans.

I wonder why he would have eaten a census-taker anyway. I know doorknockers can be annoying, particularly at dinner time, but eating them seems rather extreme. :roll:

I was one, and nobody ate me.
I guess that's cool though, because
I didn't really run into anyone I'd have
enjoyed doing so.

Did get offered some weed and beer though.

Yeah, but Hannibal Lecter offered Mason Verger an amyl nitrite popper that also contained PCP and speed, so that he could make Mason feed his own face to dogs. :twisted:

I think Anthony Hopkins had his cute moments as Lecter. At the end of 'Hannibal', on the plane. Sure, feeding a child a piece of someone's brain is a little twisted... but to this man, it's perfectly normal. As he says, a delicacy. He's incredibly friendly to the inquisitive little sod, really.
