Appropriateness of Adds (What an original thread...)

Just wanted to air that there is one add in particular that appears on the left hand side of the screen in the column, advertising free desktop backgrounds with a small but recogniseable picture of a woman on her hands and knees at the beach wearing a very skimpy or non-existant bikini and a g-string. It's small enough that it really doesn't bother me, but in the interests of kids and those of us that are a bit more conservative, just thought I would let you know!

I've brought this up publicly several weeks ago and nothing happened then either. :roll:

I think we may be at the mercy of one of the many ad servers we now use. I don't know if Alex has a lot of choice in the ads they post here, but perhaps he's talking with the folks now to resolve things.

i removed that advertiser immediately after i saw this post. I'm not at the mercy of an ad server.

alex, why are the inappropriate ads still here after all this time and so many complaints?
