I have been banned since the first weekend in August two weeks after the last posts I made.
I knew what was going on with the moderators here for months before that, so there was no point in approaching any of them. I tried approaching Alex a few times and explaining what was going on here and got acknowledged and ignored...until this past weekend when something woke him up.
Nobody has bothered to unban me and I am not asking them to. I really don't want to participate in a forum that still has abusive and manipulative mods who have treated myself, and others shabbily, where the rules say every abuse must be brushed under the carpet OR ELSE, and where everyone with a bit of power at all is firmly in touch with his inner Dictator.
I don't think Alex or any of the mods want me to come back either, so that works out well. Just one small problem, my account (Mechanima id 2885) was "silent banned" and never tagged as banned. It looks as though I still have an active account.
That is very wrong, so, as I don't want to come back, and nobody wants to unban me can we be honest and open about it and tag my account ( Mechanima id 2885 ) as "banned"?
...and yes, I do realise that if anyone see my account tagged "banned" and checks my posting history, the moderation team at WP will look completely ridiculous, if not actually demented, for banning me...but frankly, ye should have thought of that before ye banned me, and left me banned for 6 months through the conclusion of a landmark Aspie Equality Tribunal Case too, but don't let that bother you.
Let's get this over with honestly now please, and I hope I will not be receiving any more mailshots from Alex asking for money, under the circumstances that really is just adding insult to injury, and I find it offensive in the extreme.
