Making the site better

I need some ideas from all of the members to make this site a better community for those with Asperger's Syndrome. I am going to make this site a better community for these people. I need all of you to take part in it. It will take some time though, but I am going to make sure this goes smoothly. Some ideas would be greatly appreciated.

There are some terms used (like flooding) that I don't quite get - only guess at.

Some sort of dictionary for newbies perhaps?

Flooding is the same thing as spamming. It means that you make a whole bunch of posts at once. You actually gave me an idea. Maybe we can try to stop people from flooding Wrong Planet without getting emotional.

I've been doing that myself, but am getting over it.

Maybe a message in the welcoming email that new members tend to do this when they work out there are others like them might slow it down.

PS - I like military stuff. Used to be in the Army Reserve (Infantry), which is how I met my wife.
We only have a token effort in Iraq & Afghanistan, but you may want to look at www.defence.gov.au/army
