Blog post got deleted & How to close a poll

I had a blog post here -

It's no longer there. Do blog posts get deleted after a certain time or is this because of a glitch?


Secondly I want to close a poll that I started here -
http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt84280.html

I entered '0' Days in the the 'Run poll for' option for a never-ending poll. I didn't realise that I wouldn't be able to close the poll at all! Is there a way to close it manually?

Not at all sure. The blog part of the site seems to be rather troubled, in general. Maybe someone else can give you a better answer.

I edited it to 1 rather than 0 and that appears to have closed it.
