Trouble Posting in Blog

I was able to post one short blog entry (just the word "test"), but when I try to post a few paragraphs, I get the error that I can't make posts with clickable links untli I have at least 5 posts. But I have more than 5 posts, and there are no links in what I was trying to post anyways!

I'm having this same problem... actually, I thought the message said something about being a member for at least five days, but you're probably right. Or one of us is probably right. Or there probably is a right answer somewhere.

Anyway, yeah... posting blog entries of more than a couple words isn't working, and the whole reason I wanted to start a blog is so I can ramble on... and on... and on...

And I thought I had solved the problem of inserting blank lines into a blog (i.e., making paragraphs), but I'm not so sure that I have anymore.

blog has always been glitchy

Well, I'd say that being unable to post at all is a bit beyond "glitchy".

Really don't mean to be a troublemaker, but... could somebody official either say "we'll work on fixing this" or "give up, make a blog somewhere else". I'd like to do something here, but if I can't post at all, it's a showstopper. And I really kinda need to be able to do paragraphs...

Thank you to those who maintain the site for all you do... but maybe blogs should either be fixed or turned off ????

The blogs don't work at all well. They never have and there's really little chance that they ever will on this version of the forum software.

Your best bet would be to use something off WP.
I've never used it but WordPress seems popular: http://wordpress.com/
