Any other ASD parents out there in support of a new forum?

I'm not sure how many people would also like this but thought I'd throw this out there. I am a parent of a child with Asperger's. However, I also have Asperger's myself (I think) according to every test I've taken out there and a lifetime of matching characteristics/challenges. Is there any chance of creating a forum for parents with Asperger's? Or parents with ASD that also have kids with ASD? I have some questions and posts I'd like to make but I don't really want a neurotypical view of the situation because I can get that anywhere. Posting in the adult forum might work, but I'm afraid I'd be utilizing that forum wrong. As a parent with ASD also, we know (I think) more about what our children with ASD are experiencing than the neurotypical crowd and also face different challenges due to our differences, maybe even some that could help NT parents with their ASD children as well. Are there any other ASD parents out there that wish for this too? I've searched the internet and no where do I find someplace you can post as an ASD parent with an ASD child. I hope I'm not offending anyone or crossing lines here at all. Forgive me if I am. Thanks!

Such a forum has been asked for many times. Only Alex, the site owner, has the authority to create new forums and he is extremely reluctant to do so (reasons unknown).

While not precisely what you're requesting, it does get much closer than the other existing forums and I'd say that parents supporting each other is fully appropriate there.
