Feature Request: Notify about new posts in topics

There is a common feature in many forum sites where a user can get notified when someone replies in a topic they posted in. Sometimes, we might forget that we posted in some topic or asked a question, and it would be a good idea to get notified about that. The checkbox "Notify me when a reply is posted" sends me an e-mail about this, but I'd rather not clutter up my inbox with messages about forum posts and have them mixed in with other e-mails that I receive. There is a "View Post Since Last Visit", but that brings up a list of every single post that was made since you visited. It would be nice if there was something like that, but filtered to just show posts in topics that you posted in.

That feature would be quite helpful but making the daily posting experience much less of an obstical course due to bugs should be the first priority.
