When searching for a certain member's posts, the system returned the message "No suitable matches were found." I know that this member submitted at least 15 posts is the last few days, so there should be something there.

Does this message indicate that the member has been relegated to the status of "One Whom Shall Not Be Mentioned"?

Thank you.

Ah! You must have gotten the name wrong - left out a letter or number....

Online matches have to be exact...

Nope. Clicked on the name in the address block of a PM, and then clicked on "Search user's posts". It's as if all of the user's posts had been deleted or sent to the Illuminati forum.

Can all of a user’s posts be deleted?

It's possible, but not likely if there have been a lot of them.

Can a user delete his or her own old posts if necessary?

Not after about 5 hours (I think ... this may have changed).

Fnord can perhaps PM me and I could try finding the posts?

Done. You'll find a PM with the member's name in the subject header.

OK, mystery solved. The relevant posts were sanded, so plain garden variety members can't locate them; only the Lords of the Illuminati aka mods.

Poor unfortunate moderators we are, able to view such perverse stuff isn't a privilege...

I guess its solved, but did you try Just finding one post by the person? Just any old random post by the person on any old thread in the forum, and clicking their name to get their profile and then clicking those blue letters on the profile that say "search user's posts"?

That's what I do to find anyone's, including finding my own posts (because that function "view your posts" doesn't work).

Have you read through this entire thread?

My question has been answered.

No further discussion is needed.
