ohh ok, didnt know thats not what happened, but i kinda figured the game and server had to do something with eachother because chess had stopped working during migration process and thought there was some missing file or coding missing.

didnt mean to assume there about the site

There are sites like yahoo, which host such games.
A larger selection than could be here. Members could
meet up on them.

I know it's not quite the same, but seems reasonable.

We're talking games that do not involve innocent bystanders....

I was joking, by the way. I actually suck at
such things. Can't manage to insult people.

But, like other games, it wouldn't have to be
something on the normal boards. Just it's own
little game. Spectators could wander in.

I think having games on Wrongplanet is a good idea. It seems like, to me, everyone made a good point supporting this.

calandale: you were doing a pretty good job during our tiff :) . No harm done, no foul.

Anyway, be a good idea, but whether everybody's machines could handle the power needed (RAM, processor size, O/S, Navigator, video card etc. Firefox handles things quite well, apparently better than IE.
