Well, it's not like you HAVE to post a video any more than you HAVE to post anything here. A personal version of the thread is a productive idea though.

I know it takes away the whole ability to embed the video (as far as I know?

) but other hosting sites, such as imageshack or photobucket, could be used to host a video. I know photobucket will let you set it to private. Granted, all it would take is for someone to make an account to see a thread in the members only section, but that's still a little more private than having it open to the public without any hoops to jump through.

well, I think it would be better in the members area, just as the 'post a pic of yourself' threads are, for the sake of organization, I see that it suits better there than in the General discussion.
