Is this bad form to do?
Initially I wondered if your post referred to "posting a link to XKCD" as being "bad form". I.e. that a bare link to another website which might cause someone to spend the requisite number of days, away from WP, reading all 418 pages on XKCD. This was slightly worrying.
Next I contemplated the possibility that you were making the comment about comic 406 in particular. If so, I would suspect that such actions as described there, but with the operand being a forum, as opposed to a blog, as suggested by your subject line to this thread, might be indeed bad form.
Finally, I even considered that you might be making the comment in the context of the forums of WrongPlanet itself. At this point I became highly worried that I might be forced to consider exactly which of our multifarious rules I could invoke to dissuade you from any further thoughts in this direction.
