In Elementary school (grade 3-6 for me) I was always a straight A student on my report card, but in Middle school....................

NOTE: I'm not including +'s or -'s considering I don't remember which is which.:

QUARTER 1:

3 A's, 2 B's, & 1 C.

QUARTER 2:

Straight B's.

What should I do?!

Help appreciated!,

Hate to be negative about it, but middle school isn't some walk in the park. Even if the material isn't getting harder or anything it's just a really, in my opinion, rough time to be alive. You learn a lot more about yourself, have difficulty finding people that you feel like you can be yourself around (especially since everybody is trying so hard to be like everyone else) and. it just sucks. Not to mention the whole hormone thing.

But anyway, for your own sake, and my vicarious living, do your best to keep your grades up, and be involved with the right people. Do NOT WORRY about your grades though, don't create unnecessary stress. The same exact thing happened to me in middle school -- i dropped a letter average. Everything was made up for by the end of High School though. My point is you still have plenty of time to make up for 2 or three years of *minor* slippage.

So please, do your studies, and keep your head on straight.

Good luck <3

middle school grades don't matter, its not competitive, wait until your in High School because then you actually have to work to beat the rest of your class in an animal, natural selection like death match to rank high in your class to get into collage, just make sure you understand the concepts being taught.

Lol I like how you registered to make a post like that :P

But in all seriousness, the ONLY way middle school grades "matter" is that they determine what classes you get put in in High School (Which does matter significantly more)

If I had better middle school grades I would have been in the top 3, instead of 31 (of 270) because of grade weighting and stuff

I don't think you guys understand. I'm in Public school, but my family plans on putting me in yeshiva (Jewish school) from High School & on, & whether I get in or not altogether depend on my 7th grade grades!

EDIT: And just as a note, trust me, this post is NOT one of my April Fools jokes!

Well crap that changes a lot.

Look you have about 2-3 months left to pull everything up? Extra help. Tutoring.

Wait, do you WANT to be in Yeshiva? If you WANT it then yes, extra help, tutoring, cram cram cram. It'll probably be hell but at least it is only a couple of months (before you have to do it again for SATs or whatever)

But if you don't want to be in Yeshiva, then go have fun :D lol
