What is ACT and/or SAT score

Aww... Not cool... Missed only two in mathematics and they were both under algebra and functions, and I know I totally have that down (technically, I have anything that I've ever learned down, but there were some trigonometric things I've never learned before, but even they were right). This totally happens to me every time I take a test. I read the problem wrong, but I know how to do it. Like there will be a chart of various percentages of different flavors of donut and the question will say "There are 15 coconut donuts. How many pink donuts are there?" and I won't process the word "pink," only "how many donuts are there?" Curse my poor visual processing abilities.

I think I lucked out. I skipped three problems in the experimental math section which could have easily brought my score down. On the essay, I'm assuming I did so poorly because I got side-tracked. There was no way that I could defend that talking is the most efficient way of communication. That goes again all I believe in, lol.

I got a composite score of 26. 27 on english, 19 on math, 31 on reading, and 27 on science. I really should of done better on the math.

OMG, I do this too. It's so annoying! I actually try to avoid taking classes with multiple choice tests, for this reason. This year I took one, and the question asked about the retina, but I read it as "fovea," so I got the wrong answer even though I knew the concept they were trying to get at. Don't ask me how I made that mistake; I still have no idea. I also have a long-standing habit of underlining the words "not" or "except" whenever they appear because I used to skip those words and get the question wrong. I also used to write down every step of every math problem I did so I'd make fewer "careless mistakes." I still made them, but at least I could sometimes go back and fix them. Anyone else have any suggestions for how to avoid making these kinds of mistakes on tests? I'd love to try some new strategies.

Not any that won't make you fail your test by running out of time. I usually get quite a bit of extended time so I can process what the question is asking by reading it over and over (sometimes around 14 times). This usually prevents me from misreading the problem, but the occasion I spoke of with the donuts was a free response problem, and I also (thought I) understood it the first or second time I read it, so I didn't have a chance to catch my error in reading the problem. But yeah, extended time is the best. What's awesome is that I learned that, if you have the right person to advocate with you, you can get extended time on tests in college too. I once thought that once I exited K - 12, I would be all on my own, but my counselor told me otherwise.

You won't get a good statistical measure using this kind of method. For one, people who do poorly won't offer their scores.

(this is if we are using the best of both scores method that many colleges used at my time. If we are using the best one test period, then I have 800 M, 730 L, and 1530 C.)

He's right. I took me a bit to decide whether I wanted to post mine.

It's not like I'm doing research, here. I realized that this would happen, so essentially, I wanted to see how many people with good scores there were and the range of good scores. It's kind of useless, I know, but I basically just wanted to see how many people scored higher than me or close to me. Obviously, it's not the same as a random test sample. For one, this forum consists mainly of aspies, and by definition, none of them should have below average intelligence. Also, as you stated, those with bad scores obviously aren't going to post them. That doesn't matter to me much; what only matters is when people provide elevated or otherwise false scores.
