I only applied to three schools: San Diego State University, University of California - Santa Barbara, and University of California - San Diego.

I might have saved money staying here in San Diego, but I would like to leave so I picked UCSB :)

I got into all three BTW. Kind of wish I applied to UC Davis as well. Heard it's very beautiful there!

I'm a transfer student so I haven't actually had the time to be a real student there yet! I'm excited, but a bit nervous. I visited the campus back in April and it was lovely. Everyone was super friendly and everything. And OFC I picked one of the most antisocial residence halls, Manzanita since I need my quiet time. I think I'll go crazy living in Isla Vista TBH!

I'm not a party animal or anything. I'll like to find friends where we can do chill stuff with. Go hunting for affordable, but yummy restaurants and take a hike through the little trails to appreciate the beautiful scenery. I'm more bugged about the fact that minors are gonna' ask me to buy them alcohol. OFC I see it as an opportunity to bribe them with cash.

You want some Corona? I'm charging $5. Take it or leave it :P!

nice nice, yeah I visited the campus with my friend who goes there, hella nice!! ! the ocean right there is pretty gross and ugly but I know theres some good surf in Ventura which isnt too far away i think. I could not live in Isla Vista either....i love to party but those people take it to a new level. 4 -5 nights a week!?!?!? ridiculous, i hit my limit at 3 and thats pushing it. I love my friend Amy to death but her and her friends are party animals....ive seen people just pass out on walls, on the street and lawns there...its messed up but funny. LOL, when I was still 20 last year I was in Isla vista and bribed somebody to buy me beer at the Keg N Bottle...i also ate some rather expensive but good Mexican food at a famous place called Freebirds.... I def want to go back this year

Yea, I think most of the beaches here are pretty ugly compared to the ones in southern Florida. I thought they looked dirty and gross when I moved here. I still refuse to swim in them.

Yea... four to five times a week is a bit extreme for me. I grew up in Miami so I only dance to reggaeton, Cuban, or electronic music so it's not like I could get my thing on, haha. I don't really party. I just go to music venues to see live band shows; I kind of live for that stuff. Listening to my favorite bands in the front row with them standing in front of me. It's just me and the music and it feels so amazing! You don't even notice the people standing beside you, it's better than sex I think ;)!

Ohhh, I should be in SB by mid September. We should totally hang out if you're not a serial killer or whatever.

yeah....I was dissapointed in the beaches I wanted to surf there because I heard that Jack Johnson went to UCSB and he surfed all the time....im guessing it wasnt there in Santa Barbera now that ive seen it.

Miami huh, Ive never even been close. i dont know what reggaeton is but where im from we listen to lots of reggae and roots reggae. people skank to the music, its kind of like walk-dancing in place haha. and more recently dubstep and electronic music is hitting off so im around that all the time now...nice! i try to go to as many music festivals on the west coast and all the good concerts here in Eugene. Ive been to coachella 2 years ago, sasquach and outsidelands this past year. All highlights of my years.

hahah yeah if I am in Santa Barbera, definitely, but I cant guarantee im not a serial killer mwahahhaa.jk, but maybe your actually the killer and your trying to lure ME there. id love to be in SB than in Oregon, its still somehwat nice in september down there. its all rain and cold for ppl in Oregon

I went to Portland Community College and then Portland State University for undergrad. I had good grades and residency, so I didn't bother to apply elsewhere. It was the cheapest option for getting my BA!

For grad school, I applied to U of Washington, Portland State, U of Oregon, Western Washington, Eastern Washington, and Pacific. I was accepted at ISU, WSU and EWU and rejected by U of O, PSU (I think it's because the head of my department knew I'd been accepted elsewhere; otherwise my application was very competitive), UW, and Pacific. I ended up going to WSU and didn't regret it at all. I just got my master's degree two months ago!

I love being a student
at Portland Community College!

After I finish at PCC, I plan
to finish studies at Portland
State University.

As for a back-up plan,
I need to think about it first,
before deciding on a "Plan B."
