Well, not at sixteen. Most people don't have jobs at your age.

Yes they do.

Okay, so it would probably be best to finish high-school in that case. You say you aren't allowed back, so you need to find alternate methods (like an online correspondence school, an equivalence exam, etc) to finish high school.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Well it a depends on what you might want to do in life. If you want to be a doctor or something, then yes, you need an education. If you want something low key, you probably don't. If you have no clue, it wouldn't hurt to keep your options open.

sure, but you have to know how to go about doing it. just because you 'can' do it doesn't mean you will succeed. not that i am saying you shouldn't try. but just remember, you will need something that will help you pay the bills and the rent if you choose to move out on your own. you should still plan on having a steady job as an income...art alone doen't always pay the bills...especially when you are first starting out.
my advice? get your high school diploma or equivalent by whatever means you have to. it's a good place to start. you want to leave your options open. by not having at least a high school education, you are closing doors on yourself. having it will not make you successful, not by any means. but it will allow for options in the future, if you change your mind.
just because you want to do art as a carreer doesn't mean you shouldn't get an education.

You should stay in High school. If you leave now, make sure it is because you really can't do it academically and not because of pressure from the kids there or stuff like that, everybody had problems socially in high school, really.

Would you like not to go to college? Notice that successful people that some guys advertise as having succeeded without going to college, actually WENT to college, but dropped out once they learned enough to do their own stuff, this happened with Gates, with the google dudes, they all left college after getting what they needed from it, they were not totally self learning, and the bad news is... you can't be a 100% self learner, AS doesn't change it, although you could consider options like "virtual" education, for example.
