I'd like to see a tee-shirt made about college which says something like, "I went to college intending to learn, but was too distracted by paperwork."
Last quarter, ending this week that is, there have been too many situations to deal with to focus on completing the assignments for three classes simultaneously. Namely, things involving Jackie and I getting married as well as having my apartment inspected prior to end of lease. Because of all these things at the same time, I had barely any time to study... which is usually the case normally anyway. Less time than usual this quarter though, that is... no time. So, I'm going to retake these classes later on. I could just do the homework for them, since they don't even need studying in order to complete them, just filling out forms and writing papers with proper APA formatting and such other nonsense, but I would rather actually know the material. To an extent, I think it is easy to learn academic subjects on ones own rather than paying $100,000 a year for a piece of paper that doesn't even ensure a job after its obtainment.
