This is the topic of the essay that makes up half of the course final exam...

The truth is:

I learned definitions for a bunch of random terms which I was forced to regurgitate all over my test paper in order to get a passing grade. You are a horrible teacher and I will avoid your classes like the plague in future!

BUT, somehow I'm not sure that truth is what my professor is looking for....

What should I do?

Do what I did to get A* in RE: use the terms and write the things they tell you to. Assuming you've memorised a fair amount, it shouldn't be hard.

Think of it this way: If you make the essay about how bad the teacher was, he'll probably flunk you, and then you'll have to take macroeconomics again. If it was boring the first time, imagine doing it again. 8O

BS

What you need to do is to look at the equations, try to see what they might/probably mean, and then talk about that. Usually questions like this are looking for fundamental understanding, rather than regurgitation, so make it sounds like you know something by bringing up topics and using them as if you know what they really mean and how they really relate. Stick to the things that you feel like you can BS the best about.

My English teacher actually told our class, numerous times, to "bulls**t your way through it" in reference to exams and coursework, because that is honestly what you have to do. And hey, everyone in that class passed

Word to yo'mutha!! !! !

BS.

Yes, that is exactly what I did. I set the curve in the class and got my 3 hours, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much....

What galls me is that I'm very interested in macroeconomics, but this professor took what should have been an enjoyable, challenging experience and reduced it to a tedious, pointless chore because he doesn't know how to teach!! ! :x

I'll be a much better professor some day... 8)
