What would you have done in this situation?

I was walking to class in my last year of high school, I was right outside the door, and I saw "John", a popular guy a year younger than me towering over his girlfriend. He was talking in a very menacing voice and it was obvious she was scared. He played baseball and he looked like he did steriods (Not in a gross way, he was just built "all american look")

So I immediately told the teacher to go check out what was happening outside. I feel like I should have done more. Like told him to back off or something.

I would have done the same -- very quickly.

Much more effective than a person without legal authority trying to stop things.
Doing so may have caused it to dissolve & not be witnessed by the person with authority.

Play in the context of consensual mutual enjoyment is a world away from physical and verbal intimidation and threats,
and for a random bystander to presume the former as opposed to the latter is taking place could mean the difference between a person being injured or even get killed.

Thanks, that puts my conscious at ease on that memory.
