Thing is, I had this resit to do in September. I studied ever so hard over the summer, and had to do the resit yesterday. I made the most terrible silly mistakes, as well as switching answers which were originally right to wrong. I feel terrible and useless. I've never ever failed a resit before and always got full marks in everything. People have always considered me very intelligent but now I believe I must be some kind of stupid person. Because I failed a resit I had actually STUDIED for. It's as if all my effort was no use. Now I'll have to give it another try in June. :( I need cheering up.

Thanks.
xx

Don't worry! Everyone gets het up in exams. I always feel that the more I revise for an exam, the more nervous I get.

You're not stupid. Everybody has blank moments and make silly mistakes, but it doesn't make you any less intelligent. Try taking deep breaths and reasure yourself that you'll be alright, because believing in yourself is all you need.

I hope it goes better next time! (:
