When your 10 or 20 (and so on) year high school reunion comes up, will you attend? For the late 20s and up members, if your high school already held a reunion, did you go?

I would go if the class bothered to have a reunion. Our 10th passed by with little fanfare (no one knows where most of the class is.)

The problem with my class is that you could not get half the class to agree on what color school buses are  let alone where to hold a class reunion.

I really didn't attend high school much, why go back for another go-round.

My tenth will be coming up in three years.

Will the people there even remember me?

Will the people there even care?

Will I go?? Good question..

My 10th has been and gone - absolutely no interest in going or attending any future ones. :P

First, I can't go to any reunions because I was homeschooled my last 2 years of high school so I didn't officially graduate from a school. I went to three schools. If I could go to the reunions of the last two, I wouldn't, I don't see any reason to. However I would go to the reunion of the first school I went to, to show them that what they did to me didn't destroy me, and hopefully throw something back in their faces. I know that's not a very mature outlook, though :P

Sure, why not? I would like to see what happened to a handful of classmates. . . .but I don't plan on spending the night there.

My school had a reunion the year after I left. Needless to say I didn't bother going.

Not sure if I would go to any 10 year ones etc either, seeing as I only went to that school for 1 year. After my 1st primary school, I went to a different school every 2 years...

My 10 year reunion was two years ago. Classmates I'd run into every now and then would ask if I was going but when the time came, I just didn't feel like going through the trouble. I never had many friends in high school and I felt attending would be pointless. Besides, I was financially struggling with not even a car for tranportation to the event. If they found out, it would only confirm that I was a loser who didn't make it after graduating.

My 10th went by and I didn't attend and my 20th should be next year, and I won't attend that one either. I was an outcast in high school. If they didn't want me around then, why should they want me around now or ever?

I don't want to be around a bunch of people pretending they are my friends when back then, my mere presence offended them. Going would be compromising one of my beliefs, the right to associate or not associate with whomever I choose.

BWAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHhahahhahahahahhahaHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

Someone could CONVINCE me to go to the high school reunion if and only if they buy me enough acid and robitussin to tide me over for the event.

I had a dream one night of going with a couple Glock 17 C's. Sorry if that scares anyone but I was pounded relentlessely and to no end by teachers and students alike. They wrote me off and it was just like I was tossed in the dump to be forgotten. I was firmly backed into a corner and turned to studying weapons and assault tactics. It was a very dark time in my life but I have come to realize that violence does not solve violence. It merely adds fuel to the viscious cycle.
Really though, I have come to terms with those people in recent years. I drew alot of positive ideas over the years from my faith in god and logical reasoning. The anger is almost out of my system, replaced more with feelings of "I feel sorry for anyone who resorts to teasing others" and "that episode made me a stronger person" and things like that.

It is not up to me to judge those people and I surely think that alot of them are quite miserable now because of the way they were. Some never changed very much and I don't hate them anymore, rather...I feel sorry for them now. Others grew out of teasing and torturing and became better people. If I had one wish for a reunion it would be to stand there, tell my story of climbing up the ladder from the social sh!t pool and making it. I think then, I might actually forgive them. The violent dreams and ideas of revenge were intoxicating at the time but they certainly don't make things any better.

Just like Starwars... I think that once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.

I'd go to see where everyone went and what they did after school.

Oh yeah, I was so messed up that I couldn't graduate with the people I knew as 'classmates' for most of my school years. I got as far as grade 11 and then failed it. They moved on, I stayed for another year to try to get Gr 12 and then the 'accident' happened. I refused to go to any public school ever again and simply wrote a grade 12 equivalency exam. But yeah, I'd go to the reunion to tell the story and I think most would be interested in hearing it.

I'd be interested in seeing my old friends and what happened to them, but I don't think I'd have the courage to go. There's a certain girl who I haven't seen since a high school graduation party last year at which I confessed my undying love for her. I think if I saw her today I'd probably have a heart attack from the shock.

That got a bit sappy. My bad.
