Supply teachers and how comfortable you are around them.

When a teacher in a particular class is away for a particular reason and there is a substitute in the class, do you ever feel distracted with all the NT's deciding to behave inappropiately around them? Do people in your class all of a sudden get so noisy that you genuinely are distracted yet the sub won't do anything about it? And even if they do try to do something about it people continue on with the noise?

The reason why I am asking this is because I am aware of that us aspies get extremely distracted by the noise level in class at particular times, a lot of that has to do with the sensory problems in aspergers, it is especially conspicuous when a supply is around because the NT's are aware that they are not our regular teachers so they decide that it is okay to be noisy.

Like for an example: In my business class today there was a supply handing out an assignment to us that MUST BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF CLASS. I am usually one of the slower students in class and I don't get things done as quick as others. Because of this, pretty much everybody got the assignment done and I still has quite a few questions left to answer, and because of everybody else being done they were being chit chatty with the supply being unaware that I was still doing the assignment. And yet this was like 10 minutes before class ended. Since the noise level really WENT UP during the last 10 minutes of class I didn't even get the assignment done, and I didn't want to tell the supply that I was uncomfortable or else that would be tattle taling. So yeah I just handed in what I had, there were only a few blanks and the ones I did fill in I was totally confident about because we were basically looking in a textbook to find the answers to the questions. So I shouldn't worry too much about my marks, but still, if my regular teacher was there she would of told them to stop with the noise and she would've reminded them that there were still some people writing the assignment.

This kind of stuff angers and pisses me off so much, do any of you feel the same way about some substitute teachers and the people's behaviours towards them as well?

(Maybe if you give bold subject headers and break up big blocks of paragraphs into smaller... well, paragraphs, then that would help us to read it better, and keep focused.

This is wrongplanet class, not english class. Perhaps an english teacher would be a good job for you if you are going to be critical and bossy towards grammar and vocabulary on somebody's thread. Which is infact unnecessary, seeing as there are other threads with long paragraphs also. I will not accept comments like that at all seeing as it is not related to the discussion.

Maybe you don't like reading boring paragraphs, but also keep in mind there are others who won't give a huge s**t and expect that aspies may make errors like this, so stop expecting everything to be so normal in this forum. UNDERSTAND? I hope you do. KAPEESH, and get over yourself.
