I am very certain that I have Aspergers, but I've been able to hold down about 10 jobs in my day (got fired from two). Maybe your condition is more severe, but I find I can deal with most of my issues.
I drive too, and thats how I was able to get half of my jobs. I have been in a few minor accidents, but I think its more because I wasn't being careful.
Though, other countries might not have welfare I think their job market is less competitive than ours. US and Canada are definitely more stable still financially.
