It can't hurt to apply places I might like.

If all you want is something temporary to make a few bucks, cleaner is generally a good bet. They're always hiring and the interview is about the most interaction you'll ever have to do, and they kind of expect you to be a bit odd or have problems. It's generally not too bad of a job, unless you're somewhere where there's kids or teenagers or lots of college age people. But you can be around people and they'll treat you like a subhuman (not necessarily with rudeness though). You can always quit, though.
I am sure being treated subhuman would do wonders for my self esteem and mental health.
No, people usually ignore cleaning people. That's the "subhuman" part since you're not respected,... sometimes you're not ackwnoledged. It's not like they'll be pummeling you with rotten tomatoes.
Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. There are plenty of cleaning jobs available. You could do a cleaning job. Thus, it's worth a try.
Good suggestion of a job, and to avoid kids/teens, edgewaters.

No, it won't. You'll be without a job (you already are). You'll be without income (you already are). You'll have made a few bucks (an improvement) and practice at interviewing/working (an improvement from now), and you can try again at another job.
It won't be worse.
Not doing anything will make it worse. If you try once, fail, and give up, that's worse.
Why do you keep talking about me not doing anything? I have already said and will say again....I am still going to apply and create a resume I am just kind of worried it wont work out and I wont find a job or that I will be too dysfunctional to keep it because of being under too much stress and being bombarded by anxiety. In which case its very likely I could end up homeless because I only have a limited time before family drama explodes and I have to be willing to leave... whether I have the money to or not.

Meh, you get used to it. You'll get the same if you're homeless only it'll be 24 hrs a day instead of 8. There's a silver lining to being treated like a subhuman: you're invisible - people won't acknowledge you, for the most part, which can be ideal. It really is just like slavery in the ancient world, what the Greeks used to call "speaking tools". Except the living standards are considerably better.
I was doing fine with it until they posted me at a tiny facility where things were more casual and personable and I wasn't invisible anymore, then I flipped out one day and walked off in the middle of a shift. But it was ok before that, at the bigger place.

So that is what i have to look forward to, getting used to being treated as sub-human? what the hell is even the point then?

Dude, I'm saying that the worst that could happen is you end up where you already are. That's not worse than where you are, it's where you already are.
In other words, failing isn't a big deal.
If you get fired, you end up without a job like now for a while. Then, you find another job and move on. No big deal.
Trying, even if you get fired, doesn't mean you'll be worse off than you are now. You'll make money = better off than now.
If you persistently apply to-- and accept-- any job you are qualified for, you'll find a job sooner or later. It might not be a job you like, but some job is better than no job. Then you'll have income and not be homeless.

Money.
More like getting ignored than dehumanized. Not being acknowledged while cleaning the floors isn't a big deal. They're not throwing tomatoes at you or making fun of you-- customers just ignore you. Besides, you could clean homes while owners aren't there through a cleaning company and not have to deal with people being around while you clean anyway.
You'll get paid, and have work experience.
Because you get paid, you'll have money to get your own apartment and not be homeless.

Edgewaters,
You're right. Again.
It's much better to work any job you can get and be ignored than to be homeless, out in the elements (cold/hot), with no food or shelter or way to protect yourself against drunks and other people.

Yes when it goes according to plan........then I have to factor in the whole how I will react to it and how long it will take me to recover from feeling like crap over failing to function at a job well enough to keep it. If I didn't have stupid mental problems maybe I could just move on and it would be no big deal but that is not how it works in my life.

Well, you get to be independant, which is nothing to sneeze at.
But I like cleaning, if I get to do closings. You have to earn some trust before they'll get you doing closings, but you get to work at night in an empty building, no people at all to treat you any way in particular. I'm filling in for the maintenance dude where I work right now, but they don't do daily closings, just on Sunday. I never got to do regular closings, but lots of people do. It's great, the little of that I have done. You show up to work, do the work, and then leave without ever seeing or talking to anybody at all.

Part time work isn't going to get me my own apartment....cheap apartments are like 600 a month. So the only way working is even going to help me with moving out is if I can move in with other family or friends and split rent otherwise I'd have to stay at my moms house for longer then I'd like and just use the income for food, gas money and going out and about or whatever. But then depending on how other things go the homelessness could still happen.

So you get roommates in the tiniest shabbiest cheapest apartment you can find.
$600 divided by 3/4 people... you could swing on a part-time job. Living in a tiny apartment/room with roommates is better than being homeless
Work part-time until your mom throws you out so you can have some money saved up.
Then, try to find a full-time job so you can pay for your own apartment and life.
If you get a job now, you won't be homeless.
Unless you want to be homeless. It almost sounds like you want something to wrong. I don't get it. You can find a job. You can find an apartment or roommates. You can avoid homelessness and all the other dire stuff you're worried about.

That's the whole point. Nothing new will happen. You'll go back to being unemployed, which you already are... so that's nothing to fear.

Toughen up, kid. Recovering from a missed interview or getting fired from some job shouldn't take so much recovery time. You fail once, try again and try not to repeat the same mistakes. It's not that big a deal. It's life. It happens to everyone at some point. You have to do what you have to do to survive, whether that's working as a janitor full-time to avoid being homeless. People do it and survive. So can you.

Lot of homeless people still work, just to survive. Sadly enough.
If you stay at home probably best not to blow all the money on going out, scrape a few bucks together for capital for retail or production of certain agricultural products. You still seem to have a social network for that sort of thing, which probably won't last long (not much past 30, probably). That could see you through some tough times, if you're smart and disciplined about it (if not, don't do that!). That plus part time and you'd be doing pretty good.

Yeah the issue would be finding a roomate, unless there is a family member or friend who I can work something out with.....its not going to happen. I have far too much distrust and anxiety about people to room with someone I don't know who could potentially screw me over so it would have to be someone I trust.

Yeah if I can get 3/4 people together....and depending on the room-mates that could be debatable but that is why I'd only room with people I know.

That was the idea, if I can get a job and keep it long enough to make some money....I am worried I wont be able to handle it and will get fired early on or that I wont find anything I can do.

My life has been going wrong for quite some time, so no it's not that I want it.........its that i expect it so I want to consider the possibility so its not so much of a shock when it happens out of nowhere. Also you don't know if I can or cannot find a job.....that kind of depends on if anyone is hiring and if its a job I am even qualified for. Its more likely I'd probably have to move in with like my cousin or maybe me and my other friend can work something out and help with rent or whatever. Also I might not be able to avoid that.......telling me I can without having much knowledge of my life is not very helpful, yeah it would be nice if it works out........but I don't expect it to .

Yes and my confidence will be even more destroyed, because I screwed up yet again by being too slow, too easily overwhelmed or too confused because my brain sucks. I am not afraid of the being unemployed necessarily I just don't know how well I'd take it. Not being able to keep up again because I cannot make my brain process things faster, act more confident and calm when I'm anxious out of my mind about screwing up or that the other employees or employer have something against me, are talking about me behind my back and getting upset over it in which case everyone would think I'm delusional on top of being an idiot and slow worker would help me to hate myself more for being such a failure.
Nothing worse will happen if you fail.
alrighty.
And if you fail, you learn from it and try again.
Yes so far I have learned that I fail.....and that I get fired due to shortcomings I cannot control, due to them being symptoms of my psychological issues. I mean if I could make my brain process things faster, move quicker physically not be so scatterbrained I forget things and miss steps and forget bits of verbal instructions and get close to shutting down or freaking out if I get too overloaded with things on the job. Every employer I have had has said something along the lines of how 'I'm just not ready...or just can't handle it.' ect well great then they don't have to hire me or keep me working for them. But it sucks for me because if I cannot handle a normal work environment well then I am kind of screwed out of having any employment.
If you don't work, you will have no money anyway. If you work and get fired, at least you have temporary money coming in. See?
No really, I thought not working was a great way to bring in loads of income
, also as I said before money is nice to have since you need it to survive in this society but it doesn't really solve any of the larger issues, especially once it runs out.

Toughen up? like I haven't heard that one before....but yeah I try very hard not to let things effect me or anything but I fail at that to, I just end up bottling up painful thoughts, feelings and emotions and try and act like I'm fine and stuff so people wont concern themselves with my issues and then when it gets to be too much something sets me off and it all comes out. So yeah that one doesn't work for me.
And no I didn't fail once I fail every time, I have tried again over and over and over again, and I always fail no matter what it is. Also full time work is not a possibility, even getting part time work is questionable in my opinion I mean I am despretly hoping I can actually handle the part time hours let alone trying to function on a full time job. Not to mention its not like i have janitorial experiance I have cleaned houses or helped clean with family here and there so they'd have to be ok with someone with no experiance at all.

Experience is really not that critical unless you want one of the unionized, 20 bucks an hour cleaner jobs. They usually do other stuff like maintenance (heating/plumbing etc) and even security (observe and report type stuff). But a regular cleaner doesn't really need experience or any particular skills, not even social skills really, they're only concerned with reliability for the most part. And industrial/commercial cleaning is much, much easier than housecleaning. Every place has a routine and it's just a step by step process. Wash this floor, then wipe this, then sweep that, same thing every time, it's rare that you're having to put things away or operate in confined spaces, and often there isn't even any furniture to move other than a few office chairs. Often air-conditioned. Not very demanding, either mentally or physically.
If you can only do part time, you can only do part time. It's not like full time is even easy to find these days. Work kind of sucks, but then again, if you think about it, what doesn't? Most of the course of a day pretty much sucks, no matter what you do. May as well get paid for the suckitude, so you can have a little money to enjoy the times that don't completely suck, instead of them sucking too.
Between part time and benefits, or other types of supplemental income, it's definately possible to survive without working full time. Pretty hard to do if you're renting alone, mind you. But you have a social network so make use of it. At your age, probably people you know will find themselves in the same boat often.
