Yes I am autistic and I have been working in positions supporting people with disabilities since 2007. The work is rewarding and having a unique perspective helps in understanding the people you serve. The only problem is the low pay, overly social coworkers expecting you to talk, lack of structure in daily tasks, phone ringing constantly etc
