What do you guys do for a living?

Well, I only have one thing to say. And that is, the 90% within WP itself, may simply consist of that other 20% of people with AS and autism in the World who have had a real job.

I'm not entirely sure what my job is. I mostly do motion graphics and 3D animation for a small film production company that specializes in high end industrial films and commercials. But I also end up being tech support and general video guru around here. Also as we have recently gotten into creating still imagery for our clients, I have returned to using my still photography knowledge to work on post processing the digital images.

Mostly I work in my office alone and generally they try to keep me safely away from the clients. I have lots of toys to play with – mostly image manipulation software such as After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Shake, Final Cut Pro, Maya etc.

I am mostly self taught apart from taking a few really good classes in commercial photography. Maybe that is part of the reason why my work is all over the place. But it works for me and it works for my employer so no one is complaining.

Learning Disability Nurse

Currently a Manager two homes for people with learning disabilites but I'm gonna be moving on shortly cause the mutli-tasking does my head in Pretty much gonna hand my notice in this month.

Go back to being just a bog standard staff nurse. I like being on the ground leading a team doing stuff, not sat behind a desk stuck on a computer doing paper work. Its a real kill joy.

hey hey. i'll explain myself a little more - musicianship is a creative act. hell, antique dealing can be a useful service too, taking things out of barns attics &c and restoring them to useful service and aesthetic appreciation. that's not what i have a problem with. i find it odd that you'd relate music and composing to investment techniques.

in my experience, house & car 'flippers' are predatory investors that serve only to enrich themselves, and falsely inflate market prices, and deprive those that would appreciate said things (ie. buying a house to live and raise a family in, a car enthusiast finally running across a classic at a price he can afford) by exploiting an imagined price differential for quick gain. it is not a creative act, it is an destructive act. boo.

I own a window cleaning business great job for an aspie. Because I work by myself which I love. It works out great not worring about the drama of the office lfe. It's not a stressful job. It pays well once you learn the trade and build your business. It's allot to learn if you want to be good at it. It's a professional trade and skill.
