Well, it didn't work out well for that character with asperger's in "Mozart and the Whale" but I don't see why an aspie couldn't do it. As long as you can drive well, know the area you'll work in and have decent customer service skills, you should be OK. A GPS will really help, too.

I don't think it's ideal. The driving might be okay. You have to deal with a lot of people though. Often drunk, annoying ones.
