Just got a rejection letter for a job i got an interview for a few months ago. I responded with a simple yet professional message and did not flame. I was beat out by a candidate who was a more of better fit for the company.

I have been getting a whole rash of them as of late and they have been eating away at the pride...but i refuse to give up. I am still gonna truck on

How you all deal with rejection letters?

I think you're attitude is great, and am glad that you are persevering.

I'm an artist, and several years ago, I sent out packets to a whole bunch of greeting card companies, and I got rejections from every one of them. It affected my self esteem as well. However, now, several years later, I've grown as an artist. I can now see how the work I sent out was probably not appropriate for my submissions. So, now I'm taking it slower, researching how to find the markets best suited to my work, and I will try to network more. Therein lies the big challenge for me, networking.

Don't give up! :pr:

When I get rejection letters I think the company at least had the courtesy to send one. Many of the companies I have applied to have not responded either way.

Had a talk with my uncle and he said that i should take up a job in the mean time while i search for the one i want. i have been a lazy bum around the house as of late, parents are putting the squeeze on me and it has been 4 months since i left school. Starting to think my degree is worth its weight as zig zag paper.
