Not sure if anyone remembers me, but I've posted threads here regarding my two year long job search and my trouble with job interviews. Well, I thought I'd do an update letting you know that I've finally landed something. It pays much better than any offer I've gotten, and is very flexible so I can still continue to go to college full time. Best part is that they interviewed and hired me in the same week!

I was extremely depressed and was starting to doubt myself until I got this job offer. I have always figured my AS was interfering with my interview performance and I was losing hope. I overcame my awkwardness by pretending to be like people I admire, and it seemed to work. I also did some meditation to ease my nerves before the interview. I hope all of you who like me are desperately searching, find something soon! Feel free to vent here too, I can definitely relate! :(

Congratulations!

Hehe, interviewed and hired on the same week! That is exactly what happened to me when I got my current job. It has been 2 months and I still feel good about myself when I think about it. You will probably feel ecstatic for a few months, too. :D

Sorry for this terrible joke, by the way.

Fantastic, very well done! Flexible work is difficult to find, but nice when you can get it. Good luck with the new job and your studies :D
