Does anyone else work as an EMT/ firefighter/ police officer/ related field?

Do you now feel that this was a REALLY bad idea? Any ideas on adapting the skills sets of those fields to a more AS friendly occupation?

I almost went for police training. I say 'almost' because I stopped short;
1) Too many laws I dont agree with and cannot enforce
2) Dealing with people - I'd have to keep it cool and I dont think I'd be able to deal with the BS

I avoided it. Too bad as I've lots of ideas of dealing with traffic problems.
