Should I accept a job interview to be a waiter?

I have Asperger's Syndrome and struggle with noisy, chaotic environments, but none of the other places I applied to are getting back to me. I don't need a job, but I do want a measure of financial independence from my parents. I do standup comedy pretty seriously, but it doesn't pay consistently or very much at this point. Part of me wants to take the interview just for the experience, but I also don't want to express interest in a job I won't end up taking.

And just to clarify, this would only be a summer job. I'm a student.

yes you should. It will give you spending money and financial independence.

You do standup comedy...that's a pretty noisy, chaotic, and stressful environment lol, much moreso than a waiter I believe. Go to the interview, don't worry about accepting the job or not until they actually make you an offer.

I know it may seem that way, but talking to people on a stage for a few minutes isn't in and of itself all that chaotic. Being a waiter would entail conducting multiple tasks while navigating through a hectic environment, and I worry that I'm just not coordinated enough for that.

and your tips depend on your outgoing generous personality, too. You have to deal with people face to face, be diplomatic on the spot and jump through the proverbial hoops to ingratiate yourself with both your employer and your patrons.
