I Need Help From an Autistic Computer Programmer

First off, I want to apologize if I am not allowed to post in this forum. I am not autistic, although my wife is a counselor to autistic children. While my personal background is in data and accounting, I recently began the undertaking of building a particular website. While I believe I know enough of web development to build a site, I also know that I don't know A LOT.

Since my wife's schooling, we have both been fascinated by the autistic mind. However, I understand many of the social limitations are difficult and I am very empathetic to the difficulty of working with people in groups. I've read too many posts in a short time in this forum to understand that navigating the waters of the working world as an autistic isn't easy.

That being said, I recently hit an impasse and began to think about where I needed to turn. And then it hit me...

Not only could help from an autistic person be helpful, it was necessary. Not only can the project on the back end be designed around one person - who does not need to interact with anyone face-to-face - but can be run (hopefully) by only one person.

This is a pretty straightforward project. It is a website which I believe can be designed around Wordpress but doesn't have to. It will have a lot of data stored on the server for photos and those photos need to be tagged and able to be searched by.

Any additional information I will gladly discuss with anyone who wants to know. I just didn't know if this post would get flagged or taken down. I live in North Carolina but obviously you do not have to. I look forward to hearing from one of you.

Wordpress is just a content resource management framework. You'll probably want to be asking for a webmaster. As a programmer, I can deal with all these things but my time is in demand driving around fixing machines.
