I am 18 years old and looking for a job only qualifications I have got is a city and Guilds level one in English and maths.
Is it any jobs that you can really suggest?

I have I have looked for about 20 or 30 jobs but then no one seems to be replying to them.

Yet that around their Holt Norfolk area.
why is all I do know employees really seem to reply?

I have no GCSEs at all the only equivalent that sour ploys might take him into city and Guilds level and in English and maths.

Any help?

mmcool: You might not have gotten a quick response because some people don't really know what a city and Guilds level one or GCSE means. I am sorry, but I can not figure out what you mean in the second to last sentence of your post.

As best a reply I can make given this is, since you appear to be quite young, maybe you can make an appointment with some kind of vocational councilor through your school or university, or the one you went to In the past. There, you may find some direction you need. I can also say that finding a job can be pretty hard, and you have to know what you are able to do, where to look, and keep at it

Not to mention you might still only qualify for entry level jobs. You just need to look around - take any job you can find.

I had to look up what a Guilds Level 1 was. I'm still not sure I get it. Not being from the United Kingdom, I don't know whether to encourage you to look for an entry level clean-room position, or a job repairing and shelving books at the library, or a job doing basic admin. stuff in a back room for you local city government or what.

I think my biggest problem really is I have no idea what you're good at, and what you enjoy doing, and such.

there's a few folks in here from the UK that could have some proper context... give them a day or two to reply (some log in from work during their down times).

Married to a British ex-pat, but, he's busy now, so I can't ask him.

Common recommendations are working as a stock-loader in a shop or getting training for some back-end IT work.

Why don't you go for your GCSE's, then,

or do Sixth Form, and go for your A-levels?

How about calling your education department, or whatever it is in the UK. Tell them you want to take your GCSE's--ask them how you could go about it--and go from there.
