This past summer, I had worked as a clerk at a medical office for a mere forty dollars a week. It was pretty abysmal at the time, but now that I dropped out of college, I wanted it back so I could save for a cartilage piercing and a new phone. I was informed a few days ago that it is gone and I haven't been able to find anything else. I had been offered a seasonal 80 dollar a week job that I turned down because I had been planning to go back to school. My therapist wants me to work if I'm not in college because she thinks I need to get out of the house. I somewhat agree, although I never had success working. I've been kind of depressed ever since, and I could really use some spending money. The last time I had any, it was 90 dollars that I got from people at Christmas, and I spent it on a designer bag and some jewelry. The jewelry I bought was ear cuffs because I knew I couldn't afford the piercing, and my favorite one is now all bent out of shape from repeated use. Plus, I can't sleep with the cuffs on, so I've been wearing boring earrings again. Sorry to get side tracked. My dad thinks it's stupid just to get a job to pay for piercings, especially since I had a few already that I took out and let heal. He doesn't seem to think that upgrading from Android to iPhone and getting a data plan when I'm always home is worth the trouble either. But, my therapist plans on dropping me as a patient if I don't set and attempt to meet any goals, as she originally saw me to help me cope with community college. I know this has gotten way past my job woes, but I hope someone reads it.
