Is there any jobs that DON'T involve being around people?

Most jobs invole a number of people; opt to be a janitor. :] Less to worry about.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Open an eBay store. You still have to deal with people, sure, but not in person.

You tried your hand at HTML or Flash Ashleigh?

HTML is a simple webpage programing language..no math at all.

Its all just < start doing this> and then < / end doing this> commands. You build the webpage that way.

Flash is even simpler and more fun to use. Imagine a timeline.. and you have a small indicator showing you each 'second' of the timeline. You can put images, links, text, video, animations, etc. in each second or tell it to stretch it for X amount of seconds. Its like making a movie that's a webpage. Very fun to use.

People pay decent money to have their webpages created. Companies charge about 500 US dollars just to make a website with 10 pages ... anyone with decent experience in html and flash does that in less than a day.

Best of all is, you can practice and have fun doing it by making webpages for your favorite game's 'squad' or guild or team of people you play online with.

I'd love to learn HTML. I've always wanted my own website, but it always seemed too hard. Plus it costs money to get a site online.

good gravy, there's enough web sites that will teach you HTML. In fact, when you click the italics and bold buttons in the reply section, it puts html code around what you've selected.

HTML and flash are good to know. There's supposedly even a newer version of HTML out, but I don't know much about it. Web design can get esoteric, with XML, Perl scripts, CGI, CSS, and tons of other TLAs (three letter acronyms...;)
