Hi

I have a relative with Apergers Syndrome, who gets very depressed because he is out of work and has difficulty keeping a job because in general there is too much pressure for him to learn the job quickly when he needs a bit longer and a bit more patience. He has had short term voluntary placements via the job centre and has done well but still can't get a job. I have been thinking about helping him to make a work pack - rewrite CV, put in a little bit about Aspergers positive and negative, put some info about possible employer grants available and sending this speclatively to potential employers with a covering letter asking for the possibilty of work experience or work trial etc. What do you think? Has anybody tried something similar?

Thanks
